Monday Morning Clarity after a Weekend Whirlwind
Umm if the amount of dishes in the sink is any indicator it was a wildly busy weekend! Thank you all so much for your incredible support. We sold out at the farmers market in the first 45 minutes and had to take all the prepped food from the shop fridge. We ended up selling out again before the market was over!
We were truly running on all cylinders: completing a packed list of orders, batch cooking for meal prep clients, setting up a gorgeous grazing table event and finishing strong at the farmers market.
In the midst of that beautiful chaos when the tasks piled up and the energy dipped, it was easy to fall back on the part of us that is able to go all in and commit to a mission that is meaningful. This commitment to delivering quality, joy, and flavor to your tables is what always brings us back to center.
At our best, we embrace the chaos and have the courage to take on difficult challenges. Whether we’re getting attention or working quietly behind the scenes, the mission remains the same: create something amazing. We're willing to surrender the need to feel special and the food is the star!
However, we are human. There are times when the anxiety creeps in, or we worry about not being "good enough" to deserve the acclaim, which could make us want to shut down. But that feeling is temporary. The simple act of slicing that next piece of cheese, styling that perfect fruit plate or packing that last order reminds us that our true power lies in the work itself. We succeed with or without attention and admiration.
Now, it's time to regroup, restock, deliver meals and plan for the next big holiday!
