Fueling Up and Spreading Joy This Weekend!

What a whirlwind of a weekend, but every moment was filled with passion, dedication, and a whole lot of love! No crying this time!

A huge shout out to the incredible team! Abigail was a rockstar, prepping all day Wednesday and then diving right into Saturday to help organize the glorious chaos I leave behind. And a big thank you to Drew who braved the chilly greenhouse at the market on Saturday, selling those delicious sammies and snack boxes! Your dedication is truly high five worthy.

I also wanted to give a nod to some cool parts of the job—we’re sending treats to awesome places like Hanscom AFB, Air Aviation, JetOne, and Signature Aviation! (And maybe next time I will take that concierge up on her kind soup offer because a plane snack delivery girl has gotta eat!)

This weekend was also about family and celebration! My mom is off on a little getaway to CA, which means I have a sweet little dog-sitting staycation just a few minutes down the road. Plus, we celebrated Georgie’s friend's birthday on Sunday with a truly epic K-Pop Demon Hunters and unicorn dance party!

Amidst the fun, we simultaneously tackled organizing those Thanksgiving orders and, yes, I was a little late to my meal prep Sunday! I made 42 meal which was less than normal, but considering the holiday week, you all are forgiven!

Oh and shoutout to our new streamlining superhero! We spent the entire day making things happen today. I have to give a massive thank you to our new manager/admin helper! She spent time creating all sorts of spreadsheets to streamline calls, emails, orders so literally everything I couldn’t seem to figure out myself. Having this organization is what helps us fly smoothly, especially during the holidays!

If you’re interested in all things food, I decided to try a new recipe inspired by Georgie’s teacher, TJ. Jamaican curry chicken and rice! Turns out, it was super easy! Burning the curry, slow cooking the chicken with lots of green onion, ginger, and garlic. The broth was absolute perfection over rice. Seriously, if anyone has more easy, flavorful recipes, send them my way!

It's been a long one, juggling life and work, and this week is going to be even busier! But we are ready! We want to give our amazing employees a proper break to enjoy time with their families, so we will be closed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Thanksgiving orders are officially closed, but we are already taking orders for Christmas!

Don’t forget Thanksgiving platterboxes are to be picked up this Wednesday 8AM-12PM!

Hope everyone has a wonderful food filled, and fun filled week!

XX,

Abby

P.S. What amazing recipe should I try next for meal prep?
