Feeling Grateful and Ready for Cozy December!
Hello my friends!! Can we just take a collective sigh of relief? The Thanksgiving holiday whirlwind has officially passed and I'm sitting here sipping my High Noon feeling overwhelmingly grateful and a little bit sleepy!
First and foremost: THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all your incredible Thanksgiving orders. It was wonderfully crazy and seeing so many of your tables filled with my food truly makes all the hard work worth it. We are so lucky to have the best customers!
Speaking of hard work, my amazing employees are the true superheroes of this operation! They crushed it during the rush. They deserve all the rest and relaxation, which is why they had a much deserved short week of work. You guys are the absolute best!
A massive shout out also goes to my incredible new manager! This past week was a true test and she not only kept everything in check but also helped me organize my chaotic schedule and checklists. Big things are coming in how we organize and serve you so stay tuned for more streamlined goodness!
Yesterday was a breeze thanks to a seriously top notch meal prep day! Everything was ready to go and the delivery routes flowed perfectly this morning.
I spent a week plus a few days dog sitting for my mom at her beautiful house working late night on big things for the future business so the staycation was nice but happy to be home with my family and my own bed!
We’re putting up a smallish Christmas tree for the first time for Georgie and my mom gave me some ornaments but where do I even buy ornaments? Maybe charcuterie ornaments to be honest. I’ve never had to buy them because my family always just had them carefully tucked away until we decorated. What’s your favorite family tradition?
Ok, so confession time! Due to the Thanksgiving haze, I completely forgot about a HUGE milestone. Tomorrow is my shop's 3 year anniversary! Life, right? The good news is that forgetting means we get to celebrate all month long! Keep an eye out because I will absolutely be launching a special December anniversary deal to celebrate 3 years of being your favorite charcuterie spot in town!
Anyway, off to bed. So proud of my small team and grateful for all of you!
