A Life Well-Lived and Loved

It is with the greatest heartbreak that I share the news of my dad's passing. A day short of six months and has been the most challenging period of my life, a time filled with both profound sadness and an overwhelming sense of love.

Saying goodbye to him feels like a piece of my world has gone quiet. He was a guiding light, a source of strength, and the kindest man I knew. His laughter was infectious, his wisdom a comfort, and his love a constant. I will forever cherish the memories we made together; the big moments and the quiet, everyday ones that now feel so precious.

Beyond the personal loss, I also feel an immense pride for the legacy he built through his medical device company. His dedication and vision led to innovations that have changed and saved countless lives, a testament to his brilliance and his deep commitment to making the world a better place. This work, his passion, will continue to impact people for years to come, a powerful and enduring tribute to the man he was.

But more than his professional achievements, Dad was a devoted family man. His eyes would light up whenever he was with his grandchildren, and those moments were truly the highlights of his life. He had a childlike joy in their laughter and loved sharing stories and adventures with them. And oh, how he loved his breakfast sandwiches from Summer Street Grocers! Those were a simple pleasure that always brought a smile to his face even during his long stays at Tufts or LGH. Bermuda held a special place in his heart, a tranquil escape he cherished, just like our beloved lake house, where so many happy memories were made.

He was also my biggest supporter and cheerleader. When I decided to open my own business, he was right there by my side, offering guidance, encouragement, (maybe a little money) and a firm belief in me. He was always there to lend a hand, no matter what the task, his generosity and willingness to help knew no bounds.

While my heart aches with a grief I never knew possible, I am also filled with immense gratitude. Gratitude for the time we had, for the lessons he taught me, for the love he so freely gave, and for the countless ways he enriched my life and the lives of those around him. And in these incredibly difficult months, I have been held up by the most incredible support system. To my family, my friends, customers and everyone who has reached out with kindness, understanding, and love, thank you. Your presence, your words, your support has been a lifeline, helping me navigate these complicated months. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you.

Though the pain of his absence is profound, I find solace in knowing he is now at peace. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and his impact on the world through his work and the love he shared will never be forgotten. I will carry his memory with me, always.

Rest in peace, Dad. You will be deeply missed, more than words can ever say. The greatest love.

If you knew my dad and have a story or photo to share please do so on this link. It would mean so much.
